Hi, I'm Alice!

I am an Italian cartoonist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. More than anything, I love writing and drawing my own stories. I like to explore mundane settings, familial relationships and the search for comfort. My first long(ish) autofiction comic, “Dead Days”, debuted at the Shortbox Comics Fair 2024. I may resuscitate it at some point.

My current personal project is an anthology of short comics. I’m using it as an excuse to explore purely fictional stories, traditional media (mainly ink), short form storytelling and to dip my toes into very light magical realism. It will come to life in the first half of 2025.

When I’m not drawing, you can probably find me at the library looking for trivia about the Middle Ages, or reading poetry. Before becoming a cartoonist, I used to be a scientist (and, secretly, a mathematician).
