Dead Days
My first long autofiction comic, which debuted at Shortbox Comics Fair 2024. 94 pages, originally b&w, currently in the process of colouring it. Small sample of coloured pages below.
Also, to my surprise, this comic was in SKTCHD's list of favourites from 2024, alongside some truly killer comics. And he wrote some thoughtful and lovely things about it.

Thirty-two year old Alice is driving back to her grandparents’ home village, when memories of the time she spent there begin to resurface. Amid improbable driving lessons with her goofy dad and the tribulations of adolescent love, teenage Alice tries to come to terms with her grandmother’s sickness and with the decay of the place around her. Against the backdrop of a slow summer in Northern Italy's countryside, “Dead days” blends autobiography and fiction to tell a story about loss and the inevitability of change.
